Convert PDF tables to editable spreadsheets

The tool uses the position of selectable PDF text to suggest rows and columns. It exports the values you see in the editable grid to Excel XLSX or CSV.

Current PDF limitations

This version is designed for digital PDFs with clear table spacing. It does not run OCR on scanned pages or recover formulas, merged cells, charts and the original visual design. Complicated reports may need manual column corrections.

Yes. Free visitors can convert up to three PDFs per day with a 4 MB upload limit. Active subscribers can process files up to the 10 MB limit.
Not in the first version. It reads selectable text and its position in a digital PDF. An image-only scan needs OCR, which will be added as a separate processing path later.
The converter preserves extracted cell values in rows and columns, but it does not reproduce the complete PDF design, fonts, merged cells, formulas or page layout.
Yes. The result is an editable grid. You can change cell values, add rows or columns and remove rows before downloading. Your edits are included in XLSX and CSV exports.
The XLSX export writes extracted values as text so values such as 00123 are retained. Review every identifier, date and amount because PDF layouts can still place a value in the wrong column.
XLSX supports worksheet formatting and column widths. CSV is a plain-text table that works in many spreadsheet and database tools but does not store formatting or multiple worksheets.
