For a receipt, compare vendor names, dates and totals with the original before using the extracted text. Keep the original receipt separately: the text PDF is not a visual replacement.

No. This tool exports the text recognized in your image. It does not embed the original photo or preserve its exact appearance. Images larger than 1MB may be resized and compressed before OCR. For a photo-only PDF, use an image-preserving print or scan workflow.
The export reconstructs recognized text and basic structure. Fonts, illustrations, page breaks and complex tables may change. Keep the original file if you need a faithful visual record, and check the exported document before sharing it.
Images are sent over HTTPS to our server and Google Cloud Vision for OCR. The result returns to your browser for review. See our security page for processing and account-data details.
The current uploader accepts one file at a time. Convert each file separately. It does not merge multiple images into a single PDF or offer batch uploads.
PDF text layers can contain unusual character mappings or a reading order that differs from the visible page. Image OCR can miss faint or very small text. Compare the result with the source, correct names and numbers, and check each column separately.
